But fear not! With the below 5 simple steps, you can always feel confident as you navigate your insurance claims.

In daily life and business operations, accidents and the resulting losses are inevitable, and this is where insurance plays a crucial role. However, based on our claims experience, delayed reporting of accidents or claims applications leads to the loss of critical evidence, affecting the insurer’s assessment and handling of the claim. In most cases, the claim will be denied. Even in rare situations where it can be accepted, delayed reporting will significantly impact on the compensation amount, making it impossible to receive the full recoverable amount for the accident and related financial losses.

Water damage is the leading cause of property damage to property owners and tenants. Suppose a burst pipe, water leakage, or seepage is found in the property, or you receive a notification of such a situation. In that case, the insured should take appropriate measures immediately based on the actual circumstances (please refer to the following attachment for details). You can turn off the main water valve if necessary to prevent further water damage.
